What happens on the day?
Once you’ve made a booking we will keep you in the loop every step of the way. You will get notifications about your tech’s ETA on the day of your appointment.
We’ll unbox your new dishwasher, disconnect and remove the old one (if needed), clean the area, install your new appliance, level it and connect your dishwasher to existing water and power.
Our technician will run your dishwasher through a test cycle to make sure everything is working as it should and provide a brief demonstration of the main features of your new appliance.

In Australia, we can only legally install an appliance if your existing electrical connection complies with State regulations. We can arrange for this connection to be brought up to standard if needed, however this will be at your own cost and arranged through tech2’s partner contractor. Your dishwasher installation date may need to be deferred to a later date, depending on the level of work required.
Please note: Our dishwasher installation fees are non-refundable in the case that an electrical installation upgrade is declined because it does not meet State requirements.
Yes. We will connect your dishwasher to the existing drain hose and power as part of the service. It’s not always possible to for our dishwasher installer to simply swap over the old appliance for the new one if they’re not the same dimensions or make – there may be some retrofitting required to ensure a professional finish. If retrofitting work is required, we will ensure that you’re fully aware of the final dishwasher installation cost upfront. If any additional work is needed, your technician will finalise the prices of any extra work (if applicable) for sign-off before starting your dishwasher installation.
We will safely disconnect your old dishwasher (if applicable), inspect for damage and clean the area before your dishwasher installation begins. It may become apparent that additional work is required to connect your dishwasher to water and power. For example, your dishwasher install may involve adding new water outlets, running extension hoses and installing new power points, water lines or power circuits. Our technician will take special care with this additional work during your dishwasher installation and make sure your new dishwasher is safely secured in place and everything is working exactly as it should before the job is complete.
