Rapidly responding to cyber security

Published: February 9, 2018

tech2 is working with security operations team ParaFlare to provide rapid response to emerging cyber-security threats affecting our commercial partners.

A recent example is Meltdown and Spectre which placed many organisations’ password security at risk, exploiting a design flaw in modern CPUs.

We have a priority action plan in place to protect critical infrastructure and inform tech2 stakeholders.

Security of information and data is critical to our business. Our partnership with ParaFlare involves 24/7 cyber monitoring so we can anticipate, rather than simply react, to cyber security issues.

ParaFlare Managing Director, Adam McCarthy says: “Today, no company is safe from these types of events. We are all collectively exposed to new software bugs and vulnerabilities. Organisational responses are not just predicated on prevention but how quickly reaction to an event or breach can occur. This is the whole premise of ParaFlare’s Managed Detect and Response Service. Proactive cyber monitoring, the ability to clarify threats, analyse infrastructure and mitigate possible future breaches is core to our value provided to the tech2 Team.”
